Get tickets for our “Acting Out” variety show – May 1st in San Francisco

Our 2nd annual Acting Out – For The Health of It event is on Thursday, May 1st. Join the local BCAction community at Brava Theater Center in San Francisco to enjoy a variety show featuring great performances from comedians, authors, musicians, and dance troupes, all of whom share your commitment to women’s health.

We’re excited to announce the newest addition to our program – Sarah Bush Dance Project, a cutting-edge contemporary dance troupe, performing modern dance with innovative choreography. Their creative performances often explore issues of identity, gender, and sexuality.

And we are thrilled to have the brilliant, honest, and funnyNew York Times best-selling author and BCAction friendPeggy Orenstein join us as the evening’s headliner. Peggy helped change the national conversation about breast cancer with her piece, “Our Feel-Good War On Breast Cancer” in theThe New York Times Magazine.

The very funny and fierce Tania Katan will emcee the evening. Tania is the award-winning author of My One-Night Stand With Cancer and a solo performer who brings her creative and humorous approach to tough topics like living with breast cancer and gay rights. We are thrilled to have Tania joining us for the second year in a row.

Get your ticket today! This is an event you won’t want to miss.

And don’t miss the chance to mingle with our wonderful performers at the VIP reception; bring your friends and enjoy delicious food, drink and music before the show gets started.
