We’re proud to announce comedian Irene Tu and bluegrass band, The Beauty Operators are joining New York Times best-selling author, Peggy Orenstein, locally acclaimed contemporary dance troupe, Sarah Bush Dance Project, and fierce and funny emcee Tania Katan on the stage.

Irene Tu is a stand-up comic, writer, and performer from Chicago who has been described as “sarcastic,” but she just tells it like it is. Irene performs both in San Francisco and Chicago, and you may have seen her at SF Sketchfest and Chicago Women’s Funny Festival.

The Beauty Operators are a traditional bluegrass group known for their high-energy live performances and irreverent transformation of celebrated pop songs into original bluegrass masterpieces. The six-piece string-band ensemble performs to a packed house, including a recent performance at The Chapel for The Britgrass Invasion: An All-Bluegrass Tribute to The Beatles.
