Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day
Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day
Raising Awareness of Women Living Every Day With Life-threatening Breast Cancer
In cities throughout the United States, officials have declared October 13 Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day to help increase public awareness and support for women who are living with breast cancer that has spread beyond their breasts. These women, who live with the knowledge that there is still no cure for metastatic disease, need as much attention as is now given to screening and early detection.
MBCN is working to change the way metastatic breast cancer is viewed by the breast cancer community and the public at large. They are dedicated to raising awareness of metastatic breast cancer, giving those living with the disease a greater voice and visibility in the breast cancer community.
