Get your ticket: Acting Out – For the Health of It – 5/22/13
As we do the hard work of challenging the status quo of breast cancer, spending time together as a community becomes so valuable.
We’re really looking forward to spending an evening with you and others in the Breast Cancer Action network next week at our Acting Out – For the Health of It event at Brava Theater.
We have an amazing line-up, including authors Tania Katan (My One-Night Stand With Cancer) and Melanie Gideon (Slippery Year), Bluegrass musician Melody Walker, comedians Eloisa Bravo and Alison Whittaker, and acrobatic hoop dancer, $hredder! And our fabulous emcee for the evening is award-winning comedian, activist, and “humor healer” – René Hicks.
These women are donating their time and talent to “act out” in support of BCAction’s unique and fearless work to address and end the epidemic. Come join us and be wildly entertained, mentally stimulated and thoroughly inspired to take action.
