Become a Community Leader for Change

Marie Garlock Expand MedicaidOur Community Leaders for Change Program

As a grassroots organization, our members are our strength. We exist because of the thousands of people who take action, in ways big and small, to further our work to end the breast cancer epidemic. Our Community Leaders for Change program provides a space for members who are ready to take their involvement in this movement to the next level.

Community Leaders raise their voices in their communities to help spread the word about our work and mobilize others to get involved. They tell us what’s going on in their communities to help us identify needs, and we support them by providing educational and leadership tools. Together, we work to achieve health justice for all women at risk of or living with breast cancer.

Our Community Leaders get active in a variety of ways, such as meeting with legislators, speaking at public events, organizing film screenings, tabling at fairs, etc. There are countless ways to get involved!
