Are you already feeling the encroachment of pink ribbons, pink products, and pink promotions?

There’s no better way to stop pinkwashing this October (aka Breast Cancer Industry Month) than by joining us for Radical Disruption and Compassionate Resistance on Tuesday, October 12th.

Radical Disruption and Compassionate Resistance

If you’ve been impacted by breast cancer and don’t see yourself represented by pink ribbons and empty awareness, know that you are not alone. We encourage you to join us in sharing space with a community of like-minded breast cancer activists.

  • By purchasing a ticket starting at the Advocate level, you’ll have a chance to submit the names of loved ones or activists that you want us to honor in our slide show.
  • If you buy a ticket at the Organizer level or higher you’ll receive a special invitation to a pre-event happy hour that includes a cooking demo with Chef Mat Schuster of Canela Bistro and Wine Bar in San Francisco.
  • And finally, if you sponsor at the Activist level or higher you’ll receive a special vegan tapas kit. Each tapas kit feeds two people and contains ingredients for the two dishes that Chef Mat will be demonstrating at the happy hour.

If you’re new to the problems of pinkwashing and ready to learn more, we encourage you to get started with us at Radical Disruption and Compassionate Resistance.

  • A Supporter ticket is just $25 and will give you access to the live stream on October 12th.

Ready to turn anger into action? All proceeds from the event support BCAction’s work toward health justice for everyone at risk of and living with breast cancer.
